LPN–LAP gathers some of the most thoughtful projects developed by Luís Pinto Nunes and Luís Albuquerque Pinho alongside with many different artists, curators, editors and thinkers. The goal of their work aims for cultural production and research in the field of artistic and curatorial practice, architecture and edition.

Luís Pinto Nunes (Porto, 1988) has a degree in Visual Arts – Painting, and post-graduation on Art Studies – Museology and Curatorial Studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto (FBAUP). Enroled the Independent Study Programme of Escola Maumaus. Coordinator of the Museum and Exhibitions Office at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto, developing museological and curatorial projects. Committee member and curator of xCoAx – Computation Communication Aesthetics and X, member of I2ADS, and in 2018-19 member of the acquisitions committee of art for Porto City Hall's collection (Pláka).
Luís Albuquerque Pinho (Porto, 1978) has a degree in Architecture from Universidade Lusíada in Porto, in 2001. Collaborated with Isabel Furtado and João Pedro Serôdio, between 2000 and 2011. Associated Architect at Garcia e Albuquerque, between 2001 and 2019. Post-graduation student on Art Studies – Museum and Curatorial Studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto (FBAUP). During 2011, resident curator at Node Center Berlin. Enrolled the Independent Study Programme of Escola Maumaus. Currently develops his own practice in architecture and consulting at Albuquerque Pinho and Co. In 2021 jury member of SHUTTLE grants, Porto City Hall's (Pláka).
Since 2010 they have developed cultural projects as well as collaborated in several editions and publications, in example, the curation of HóSPEDE – Ensaio Curatorial (2012), at the duplex apartment at the Parnaso School, designed by the modern architect Carlos Loureiro. Andaime (2012), a performance festival programmed alongside Vitor Ramalhão associated with Manobras no Porto. Audio Guide – Deffered Residency, interviews of Embankment collective, LiMAC and Sara & André, for the publication of the Curatorial Lab., of Guimarães European Capital of Culture 2012, edited by Lígia Afonso and Gabriela Vaz-Pinheiro (2013). Porto-Köln, a text for the catalog of the project developed by KARAT in Cologne (2014). Curated in collaboration with Valdívia Tolentino for Centro para os Assuntos da Arte e Arquitectura (CAAA Guimarães), It was only a moment for you – Candice Lin, and Louro e Bambu – segundo acto, figuração do exótico (both in 2015).
